SEA SCOUT SHIP #202: ISLAND HOPPERS

We are co-ed river boaters 14-20 years old who enjoy power boats and paddling. With Peacebunny Island as our host, this summer we'll be spending much of our time exploring Pool 2 of the Mississippi & Minnesota Rivers (Shakopee to Fort Snelling and Minneapolis to Hastings).  We're excited about E-STEM adventures while "island hopping" and serving as a resource for other youth organizations.

As a newly chartered unit under the umbrella of Scouts BSA, we are seeking additional youth and leaders.  Our ship members have access to two houseboats, a motorized fishing boat and several canoes that may be used once you have passed certain training levels.

We meet Tuesdays throughout the summer for training, boating outings, plus several overnight river camping opportunities.  As a youth organization we won't post our schedule/locations online, so contact us for more details and start the conversation.

For youth who wish to focus on sailing, contact this great group of youth Ship #248 (Lake Nokomis, MN).       
They meet mostly on Wednesday nights.
