We just seized an incredible opportunity. We'd been looking for the best way to manage the buckthorn and the purple loosestrife which are invasive species at the farm AND at the island.
Today a family friend helped us connect with a 4H family that had four young whethers (male goats) that sold them to us for less than it would be to rent them. They are so fun!! Super docile and follow me around like I'm one of the gang. If we just had another boat, we could do goat yoga on the river. HA!! Maybe we should put our island weather station supplies on the SS goaticus boaticus. HA!!
